Within Seogwipo City alone there are several golf courses with different characters. They are scattered across Namwon-eup, Pyoseon-myeon and Andeok-myeon, and their elevations range from 80 m to 450 m. Here we compare the five by number of holes and travel time, and set out the order for grouping them into a multi-day itinerary.
How the golf courses are spread across Seogwipo City
Seogwipo City is a single administrative district, but its golf courses are scattered from the eastern end to the western end. Haevichi Country Club Jeju and Springdale Golf & Resort are in Namwon-eup, Shineville Park Country Club is in Pyoseon-myeon, and Teddy Valley Golf & Resort and Pinx GC are in Andeok-myeon. Namwon-eup and Pyoseon-myeon are in the southeast of the island, Andeok-myeon in the southwest.
The second axis is elevation. Shineville Park is at 80 m, Teddy Valley at 190 m, Haevichi at 300 m, Springdale at 350 m and Pinx at 450 m. Even within the same city the difference in elevation is wide, and that difference comes up repeatedly in descriptions of the courses.
Shineville Park sits on low-lying flat ground at 80 m above sea level, so it stays above freezing year-round and is little affected by snow, fog or wind, and because palm trees grow vigorously below 100 m of elevation there are notably many palms. Along with Raon (130–180 m) it is named as a first choice for winter rounds, and reviews describe it as feeling like being on the Big Island of Hawaii.
Springdale sits high up at 350 m above sea level, and the official description says it is cool in summer while in winter Hallasan blocks the wind, making rounds possible in all four seasons. Because Wimi Harbor is where vessels take shelter during typhoons, this course too tends to get little wind in winter, and it is said that there is no sub-zero weather even in midwinter. Teddy Valley sits low at an average elevation of 190 m, so it is little affected by fog, wind or rain and allows rounds in all four seasons.

The order to use when grouping them into one itinerary
The five split into three in the east (Namwon-eup and Pyoseon-myeon) and two in the west (Andeok-myeon). Rather than crossing between east and west day by day, grouping two days in the east and two days in the west based on where you are staying reduces driving.
For the arrival day and the departure day it is safer to decide by distance from the airport. Teddy Valley is about 35 minutes by car from the airport and, being on the Pyeonghwa-ro, is also 7 minutes from Jungmun. Haevichi, by contrast, is about 60 minutes, the longest of the five, so placing it on one of the middle days rather than right after arrival leaves more room.
The number of holes also affects the order. Haevichi has 36 holes, Pinx has 27 and the other three have 18 each. Haevichi is said to have four courses that all differ in character, so booking two days at the same club is also possible. It is the closest to Hallasan, with the sea in view beyond the fairways, and is characterised by mounds shaped after Jeju's parasitic volcanic cones; it is said that Hallasan is clearly visible from every hole and that the fairways are wide. Google reviews mention that the Palm course is particularly beautiful and that the wind is strong enough that you sometimes take three more clubs.
Changing the priority by season is another approach. In winter, put a course such as Shineville Park first, which is low-lying and little affected by snow, fog or wind; in summer, work in a high-elevation course such as Springdale at 350 m above sea level.
Pinx was the final design by the late course designer Theodore Robinson, who designed more than 160 golf courses worldwide. Inside the clubhouse there is a mineral-rich Lagonite hot spring drawn up from 2,001 m underground, so it suits an itinerary with some room after the round. Teddy Valley is classed as a top-tier golf course in Jeju and is a host venue for the KPGA Tour Championship final event, which will be held in Jeju on 8 November 2026 and has a history of alternating with Cypress.

How to coordinate travel and accommodation together
It is better to decide where you are staying before you decide the order of rounds. Daily driving time changes depending on whether you base yourself around the courses in Namwon-eup and Pyoseon-myeon or around the two in Andeok-myeon. Teddy Valley is 7 minutes from Jungmun, so morning transfers are short if you stay in the Jungmun area.
Springdale and Teddy Valley each have a resort attached, so an arrangement where the round and the accommodation are in the same place is possible. Room conditions differ by itinerary, however, so it is right to treat that as an item to confirm at the enquiry stage.
For a group itinerary, the number of vehicles and the grouping of players drive the choice of course. Haevichi has 36 holes and Pinx 27, so when numbers are large it is relatively easy to split groups within the same club. With smaller numbers, spreading three 18-hole courses across the dates is simpler.

Accommodation and travel checklist
Items that speed up coordination if you sort them out before sending an enquiry.
- Decide the area based on your accommodation — east (Namwon-eup and Pyoseon-myeon) or west (Andeok-myeon)
- Match your airport arrival time to the travel time to the first round's course — all 5 are between roughly 35 and roughly 60 minutes by car
- Check the last day's course and its travel time to the airport — Teddy Valley is about 35 minutes, Haevichi about 60 minutes
- Check the season — reflect the elevation difference, such as Shineville Park at 80 m for winter and Springdale at 350 m for summer
- Check the number of holes against your party size — Haevichi 36 holes, Pinx 27 holes, and Shineville Park, Springdale and Teddy Valley 18 each
- Check the driving route — whether to group the 2 courses in Namwon-eup with the 1 in Pyoseon-myeon, or the 2 in Andeok-myeon
- Check the grass type — Haevichi and Pinx use cool-season grass, Springdale a mix of Korean lawngrass and cool-season grass, and Shineville Park and Teddy Valley Bermuda grass with ryegrass overseeding
What is not included in a quote, and what to check
This article covers only the district, number of holes, elevation, grass type and driving time from the airport. Cost items and operating hours are not covered here, so they need to be checked separately at the enquiry stage.
Itineraries are coordinated in the order requested. We do not guarantee the lowest price. Real-time booking availability requires separate confirmation. Accommodation conditions also vary with the itinerary and the number of people, so treat them as an item to confirm together at the enquiry stage.

Frequently asked questions
Only the questions that come up repeatedly are covered here.
- Can I build an itinerary using only Seogwipo City golf courses — Yes. With Haevichi and Springdale in Namwon-eup, Shineville Park in Pyoseon-myeon, and Teddy Valley and Pinx in Andeok-myeon, you can choose five courses within Seogwipo City alone. For holes, Haevichi has 36, Pinx has 27 and the other three have 18 each.
- How many courses can I play in one day — How many courses are possible in a day cannot be determined from the information in this article alone. What is confirmed is that all five are between roughly 35 and roughly 60 minutes by car from the airport, and that they split into three in the east and two in the west. The rest is confirmed at the enquiry stage.
- How do I plan the driving — Travel times from the airport are about 35 minutes for Teddy Valley, about 50 minutes for Springdale, about 55 minutes for Shineville Park and Pinx, and about 60 minutes for Haevichi. Teddy Valley is on the Pyeonghwa-ro, 7 minutes from Jungmun. Putting the nearer courses on the arrival and departure days and the farther ones in between reduces travel.
- Where should I base my accommodation — The basis is which side you have concentrated your rounds on, the Namwon-eup and Pyoseon-myeon group or the Andeok-myeon group. Springdale and Teddy Valley each have a resort attached, and the specific accommodation conditions are confirmed at the enquiry stage.
